Another Friday, another moment to pause, check in and see where we’ve been this week…
So where have *you* been in your quest to get fit?
I am happy to say that I’ve taken the quest seriously this week and am ready to show and tell…
I nailed a daily workout every single stinkin’ day. I am really proud of that, because in the past, I’d have missed one day, then just abandoned the rest of the week. I’m an all-or-nothing kind of thinker (always have been) and it’s often a struggle when issues come up for me to keep on my planned path. One thing I think really helped was my new friend, my fitness planner.
It’s up-to-date through yesterday, though this picture is from Wednesday morning. I love having this wildly colorful spread to look at, and to know I am requiring myself to check in every night and log my daily progress is really making a difference.
I am also thrilled to report the arrival of my new FitBit. If you read my Work It Wednesday post, you’ve been acquainted. If not, here she is…all black rubber and beautiful!
That photo was after our inaugural walk our first full day together.
This week’s goal is just a slight modification of last week’s. I am keeping last week’s goal of exercising for a solid 30 minutes every day (the initial plan is DVDs…I have TONS…but if the weather is nice, I will opt for a 5 mile bike ride or 4 mile walk) as well as adding an evening sunset walk to my day. I did one on a whim last week (for stress relief) and discovered that I absolutely LOVE it. I know July’s evening temperatures will put up toward the miserable end of the humidity spectrum, but even two miles makes a difference.
In other fun news, I got a wonderful package today:
That’s right…my new canister of Spark arrived, along with some other goodies I’m (almost) out of. I love the MNS-C packets–they really do curb my hunger in a non-Dexatrim (read: crazy caffeine shakes) kind of way. Thermoplus and Catalyst are old favorites, and Clear Mood has become my ally over the last few months with the number of external stressors I’ve been facing. I love my Spark, though…
Enough about me! How did you do? How was your week? Still going strong, I know it! Snag my button and graphic and link you post below to share your successes. We’re fabulous, you know!
