I’m a little late in posting today. We’ve had a lot going on in our family and there are just other things that take precedence over blogging, ya know? But I couldn’t wait to give you a peek at how I set up my brand new Happy Planner for July.
It’s actually a quite simple spread. My July is fairly slow in terms of events and happenings, with the exception of the final week of the month which is the annual (23 years!) summer camp I work at for diabetic teenagers. I can’t wait!
It’s such a thrill starting with a two-page blank spread. There’s something a little thrilling about having a fresh, new month staring you in the face. Like an easy way to restart your life every 30 to 31 days 🙂
The first step I wanted to take in the planner this month is to add several little page flag stickers. These are printables from Digitallum over at Etsy. I love the colors!

I had a hard time deciding which alphabet stickers to use for my camp week, so I opted instead to write it all out by hand. I think it’s cute!
I loved the colors, but as I worked on it, I started feeling like it was an Icee advertisement (lol), so I changed the camp name to campier colors–yellow, green and brown:
I should probably admit here that I have an unnatural affinity for dots. Everywhere.
Once that’s done, I added the rest of my little flags and couple of other stickers on days I know are going to be meaningful:
made the flags into pennants with a couple of marker strokes:
and finished with a few stickers for the other events I know are coming, and a few lists for things I want to keep track of.
How do you set up your monthly spreads? I’d love to see! Connect your post to our linky each week and come away with some amazing, great ideas! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
