Well hello friends! I know the Plan With Me Sundays linky isn’t really active this week since they decided to go to a monthly format at the start of August. (Ya know, teaching and all the time it takes…!) but I wanted to put up a quick post to show you how my camp week planner spread came out…and this is the first chance I’ve had to blog since getting back!
If you missed my original post about how I set up my camp week planner spread, read the original post here. Long story short, I knew I wanted to use these pages more as a scrapbook/memory book type of spread rather than using it to plan ahead. I knew I was going to camp, knew I’d be taking a ton of photos with my iPhone and printing them on my Selphy printer (have I told you how much I *LOVE* that little printer?!), and knew I wanted to keep the photos in my Happy Planner.
Here’s where we ended the layout:
The strips of scrapbook cutouts (from the Scarlet Lime Planner Society’s July subscription box) were just put down with Glue Dots. I wasn’t sure how the photos would work out, so I wanted to leave the possibilities wide open.
Now, something you need to know about me: I am the absolute worst person in the world at taking selfies. I have no selfie skills, and my friends all find it hilarious that I usually only get one eye in my selfies, if that. I like to blame my T-Rex length arms, and we really do all laugh about it all the time. This year at camp, my friend Joanna (a selfie expert) made my mission of the week to learn to take good selfies. You will see in my spread that there are a whole lot more pictures of me than I would like. I normally want no part of myself in photos unless they’re a group shot, but I had a couple of friends (thanks, Nick and Dru…!) who took it upon themselves to tutor me in the art of selfies. While I didn’t graduate from Selfies 101 to Selfies 102, I did learn how to get my whole head into the shot…lol.
See for yourself!

And here’s the whole shebang together:
I used washi tape to secure the photos under and over the scrapbook strips instead of using glue or glue dots. I think it’s cute! What about you?
So glad you could stop by. Hope you’re enjoying your last hurrahs of summer…planner or not!
