Another Sunday, another Sunday scoop from TeachingTrio 🙂
This post won’t be long. I think everything is pretty self-explanatory!
3 things I have to do:
Clean the kitchen
With all of last week’s evenings being spent at basketball games until 9 and 10pm, we ate cereal for dinner. Easy dinner, but the dishes multiplied, I swear. Ugh. Please invent a self-cleaning kitchen? Please?!
It’s nice again (near 50F) here, so I plan to take advantage of it and get in an hour-long walk. I did yesterday and felt so much better…hoping the sun makes an appearance from behind the clouds today.
Send Valentine Packages
I like to send a package to my parents, now wintering in Florida, the daughters of a friend of mine (ages 9 and 6) and a friend whose birthday is the day after Valentine’s Day. Problem is, I haven’t bought a single thing to send. Looks like a WalMart run after hubby and I leave our Starbucks date today. Boo! WalMart (or any store) on the weekend…painful!
2 Things I hope to do:
Make pizza dough for dinner this week
We only have one game this week–Monday–so that means we’ll be home the rest of the week for dinner. I have really missed making pizza. I like to make a dough on Sunday and refrigerate it for when we use it during the week so I don’t have to buy that canned stuff. The boys love it. I think they’d eat it every single night if I made it. So easy, too! So after I get the kitchen clean, it will be time to dirty it again with pizza dough. My work is never done!
Blog plan and write
I’ve got a couple of blog posts in my head I need to get down on paper, and I can probably crank them out today and schedule for later in the week, so I can enjoy a night off.
1 thing I’m happy to do
Make spring break plans!
We already have half of spring break planned. For the first time in about 10 years, hubby’s spring break overlaps with mine. He loves taking cruises, so we’ve scheduled a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas. He has to come back mid-week (stupid district planning, if you ask me) and I get through the end of the week and weekend. Since we dock in Miami, I am going to drive down to Key West for a few days and fly home on the weekend. I’ve never been to Key West but am fascinated by the history there. I haven’t made any reservations for myself in Key West, so a friend who goes there often made several suggestions for me to follow up on…today! That’s a little highlight in this winter weather …blah!…
