Let’s hear it for Sunday! This week it was a long time in coming to get here. I imagine it has something to do with the pending full moon and fast-approaching spring break. It’s almost April. Yay! I know the ladies linking up with the TeachingTrio’s Sunday Scoop linky are as happy it’s Sunday as I am, so let’s see what’s going on today.
3 things I have to do:
*Pack for Spring Break. Hubby and I fly out Wednesday night for a four-day cruise to Cozumel and I don’t have a thing packed. I don’t even know where some of my summer clothes are…lol. I’m so excited because we haven’t had a spring break together in over a decade, and I absolutely love Mexico. I can’t wait! This will be the longest week of the year…
*Post my April freebie for teachers. I’ve got my April Lessons and Loves almost ready to go. I need to proofread it one last time and double-check margins, and get it up. I’m thinking that I should print it and post my little stories daily. I haven’t decided on that, but it does make sense that since I made it, I should show you I’m using it.
*Catch up on blog reading and commenting. I might not get to this until we start traveling Wednesday night because I’ve got so much other stuff to do. But today kicks off a Spring linky and contest I’m a part of (would you like to enter for a chance to win a $100 Amazon card, a $75 or $50 TPT card? It goes live at 9am today… Check it out!) and I really want to visit as many of the other links as I can. I’ve been looking at the lineup before it goes live and I think there will be a lot of fun reading. I love commenting on blogs because I know how great it makes me feel to log on and see someone’s commented on mine. Pay it forward 🙂
2 things I hope to do:
*Walk. If it’s not too cold, I’m treating myself to an hour or more in the sunshine and with a new book on my iPhone. No excuses!
*Schedule blog posts. I’ve got great ideas, just not time this week. Maybe I can crank out some good stuff…
1 thing I’m happy to do:
*Bake a new recipe for a colleague’s birthday. The 8th grade science teacher and I have a shared
obsession passion for Cadbury Eggs. We talk about them at recess, lunch, hall duty…so when I found a cupcake recipe on Pinterest featuring those yummy things, I knew I had to make a batch for her birthday. It was last week, but I think she’ll love it anyway. Gotta pick up some Cadbury eggs on my way home from Starbucks today…and maybe a few extra because they always call my name.
(Here’s a sneak peek of the recipe)
Have a wonderful week!
